Tips & Trends | Are you daring enough to try these spring statement trends?

Here at Designer Swap, our favourite part about a new season is all the brand new trends we get to try out. Over the years, we’ve seen ever changing trends like chokers, purse charms, and bulky watches, but there is something special about this spring. This season focuses more on making a bold statement rather than dainty classics. Fashion is taking a turn this spring by mixing retro gems with a millennial take – it might just be the most daring season yet.

Statement Hoops

Bringing it back to Jenny from the block, we cannot go wrong with a good pair of hoop earrings. The best part about a hoop is that no matter what you look like, they instantaneously glam up your look. Style your hair is a messy bun, top knot, low pony, throw on your hoops and you’re ready to go.

Futuristic Shades

Maybe the toughest trend of 2017, futuristic sunglasses has been seen on celebrities and bloggers around the worlds for a while now. The thin, angular shape of the lens is completely different than the classic aviator that were used too. Might as well be brave and pull our hair back into a sleek pony and try this trend out while it lasts!

Micro Minis

Nothing is cuter than a micro mini hand bag and we can promise you that DS is loving this one. This trend is perfect for busy days on the go because let’s be honest, it’s a million times easier to carry around a micro mini then a monstrous bottomless bag (as much as we adore them, they can be a serious pain). If this tiny bag can fit the essentials, then you can’t go wrong!

We’d love to know which spring trends you’re going to try!
