Tips & Trends | Cozy Season: Kardashian/Jenner Edition

FINALLY! My 90s-early 2000s dreams are coming true and track suits are making a comeback. In addition to this, swapping out bodycon for oversized is totally giving me an excuse to eat more (and I’m not sorry about it either). Let’s talk cozy for a moment. A$AP Rocky and the Mob (who are style icons in their own respect, might I add) are coining the term and giving it some credibility. Cozy is another word for relaxed or laid back…and that’s exactly what it looks like too. I’m immediately drawn to comfort, who isn’t? “Cozy” is on another level because it’s actually fashion forward. It’s not about just putting on a pair of sweatpants and sneakers and calling it a day. The cozy aesthetic is comfortable, yet stylish.

I live vicariously through how the Kardashians/Jenners dare to give fashion enthusiasts something to talk about. Each sister has their own aesthetic, style and uniqueness. They are chameleons when it comes to style. Love them or hate them, I would definitely call them style icons because of their ability to start/influence new trends. The Kardashian/Jenner wave is undoubtedly a fashion force to be reckoned with! So, I’ve compiled some of my favourite Kardashian/Jenner looks under the “cozy” trend, something I particularly love (this is an understatement) to partake in.

Kourtney plays on the tomboy look like no other. I can’t remember a time I didn’t love one of Kourt’s outfits. Her style reminds me of mine, in the sense that she doesn’t fear boundaries. If she wants to wear it, she’ll wear it.

Now, if I really had to pick a favourite sister, it’d be Kim. She’s one of my muses, through and through. I love her unconventional style choices, as well as her determination to give girls with a little curve the spotlight. While I understand there is a laundry list of stylists (including her hubby Kanye) that dress her, I’d like to believe that Kim wouldn’t wear anything she doesn’t like. Kim’s style has evolved over the years. Her lookbook is solid because of how daring she has been and how many aesthetics she has pioneered or brought back to life.

KhloMoney puts the ass in sassy. Her body makes me want to go on a run 3 times a day (and I’m not even a fan of cardio). Her style has evolved with her sense of confidence which I appreciate. She does the cozy look with some attitude.

Well, Kendall isn’t a model for nothing. She rocks the runway but she also rocks the streets looking all cozy too. Her style is more relaxed and laid back, making her the most unique out of the sisters.

For the youngest sister, there is no stopping her right now. I don’t know how she does it but she does it and she slays. Kylie is a style icon, not for what she wears but for how she wears it.
