Tips & Trends | FENTY x PUMA: “Preps Gone Bad”

Just when you think Rihanna can’t outdo herself, she does. She is my muse and everyone else’s too (and if she isn’t, I’m sorry you don’t get it). The fashion icon has broken through glass ceilings on the streets, on the red carpet, on tour and now, her vision is on the runway. No one dresses like Rihanna. That’s what’s so special about her designing clothes. The fourth season of the coveted FENTY x PUMA line has grown into a phenomenon, giving Puma a major boost in the fashion world. They have all of the right players right now; RiRi, amongst many other artists and rappers, are designing stylish and fashionable pieces that speak to who they are and giving fashion houses a run for their money. This is the fall 2017 ready-to-wear collection that she debuted in Paris earlier this month and these are my favourite looks.

There’s nothing “uniform” about this line other than the fact that all of the pieces SLAY. Rihanna pays attention to so many important fashion rules…and breaks them. That’s why the popularity of her collaboration with Puma is no surprise.

From the colours, to the different silhouettes, Rihanna is bringing out the best of “back to school” inspired looks. This collection speaks volumes to the type of vision she has when it comes to fashion. As far as I’m concerned, no one is more brave or more bold than Miss. Fenty.
