Dressing for a rainy day is hard, especially when all you want to do is stay at home where you’ll be dry and warm. But of course, life doesn’t work that way, and we eventually have to get up and live our adult lives. Although we may be tempted to throw on a pair of sweatpants and an oversized sweater to get through the day, deep down we know we’ll have to show up looking more polished for work.

Just because it’s gloomy outside, doesn’t mean your outfit needs to be. Here are some rainy day essentials that you need in your wardrobe to help you stay chic during the stormy weather.

Hunter Boots

Hunter boots are perfect to wear in rainy weather. They come in many different colours and can be worn with almost any outfit. While most people opt for darker colours such as black and grey, wearing a red or yellow pair can help add a pop of colour to those wet and gloomy days.

Blundstone Boots

If you’re not into the length of Hunter boots, you can opt for shorter waterproof shoes such as Blundstone boots. Like Hunter boots, these boots can be worn with most outfits and are ideal to wear during wet conditions.

Joggers

Joggers are comfortable yet chic enough to wear on a rainy day. Wear your joggers with a leather jacket to give yourself a more polished look.

Rain Jacket
