Tips & Trends | Styling Skirts For Summer

When I think of summer, many things come to mind. Aside from cold drinks, the beach and ice cream…I think of what’s going to be trendy and what fashion pieces are a must have. Season to season, I spend hours (I’m not kidding…HOURS) adding to my fashion board on Pinterest to get inspired. Obviously, I’m obsessive about having a versatile selection of clothing items suitable for the season. I gravitate towards more comfortable pieces that are easier to style; not only that, pieces that go from daytime to nighttime in an instant. 

Skirts are probably my all time favourite article of clothing simply because you can dress them up and dress them down. Whether you’re working with a fitted style or something more flowy, you can achieve versatility with mostly any skirt. I love wearing pencil skirts with sneakers in the daytime and heels in the evening, or a flowy skirt with flip flops in the daytime and sandal heels in the evening. There are so many possibilities! Skirts are timeless and are great summer pieces to have!
