You literally have the power to transform your face without going under the knife. Contouring is sort of a thing right now. Since Kim Kardashian released a photo of her contouring techniques everyone has been all over it.
There’s a few things you can do to get in the game – use your own mix of products to contour or buy an actual contouring kit. The following are a few tips of my own to help you get started, and give you a few tips on how to contour. These are all just my own opinion, and it does take practice to nail it. So hang in there!
Build Your Own Contour Kit!
What you need:
Foundation, two kinds of bronzers (different shades), an angled brush, concealer.
Suggested Products:
Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation, Bare Minerals bronzer in The Skinny Dip, Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer in medium, NARS liquid concealer and NARS Kabuki Ita Brush
What To Do:
• Apply your foundation as you normally would.
• Highlight your face with the Skinny Dip bronzer, or your choice of a lighter shade of bronzer. You want to highlight the areas of your face where the sun hits (cheeks, forehead, chin and nose).
• Dab concealer on the bone just under your eyes and lightly blend. Also apply a very light dab of the concealer to the top of your nose in a light line and blend down and upwards
• Take your angled brush and the Too Faced bronzer (or darker bronzer your own) and suck in your cheeks. Use that indent as a guide as you sweep lightly with the brush from your hairline and into your cheeks. Also apply a sweep above the brows, the indent under your lips, your chin line and down your neck. You want brush strokes to be light and not put in a lot of pressure. If you need to blend to smooth lines – go ahead.
