Tips and Trends | Toronto Raptor Fan Outfits

For a second year in a row, the Toronto Raptors have made it into the playoffs!!! The entire city has been waiting for this moment and now the big showdown has begun! They had a bit of a disappointing loss over the weekend but they need all the support they can get for Game 2 on Tuesday. In honour of the Toronto Raptors I wanted to write about the different ways you can put together Toronto Raptor apparel in everyday wear. Check it out!

Toronto Raptors Sweaters

You can find these sweaters in black or grey with the Toronto Raptors logo with words such as “We the North” or “Northern Uprising”. It is very comfortable and practical for everyday wear. As it is exam time for some, then comfort comes first. Whatever your reason is to wear a sweater, it is a subtle way to show first of all that you are a Torontonian and second of all, shows that you are rooting for the best basketball team in the NBA.

We the North Hat

The weather is finally warming up and it is now appropriate to wear a “We the North” hat. Just like Drake, you could also wear it with a Toronto Raptor sweater with jeans. You don’t have to wear this hat just for Toronto Raptor games either as I have seen many Toronto fans wear this for both Toronto Maple Leafs games and Toronto Blue Jays game. If you go back to basics, black goes with everything so why not wear this hat to different games with different jerseys?

Toronto Raptor Jersey

You are a bit limited in your apparel options when wearing a jersey but you are not completely limited to just wearing the jersey at basketball games. The best way to wear this is in a casual setting over a hooded sweater OR when wearing a light jacket.

Raptor Socks

Most of the apparel I found were for more of a casual setting. For those gents that have to wear business clothes every day for work, I found a pair of socks that quietly show you are a Raptor fan. This is a very subtle way to show who you are rooting for in the playoffs and looks great with any suit or any pair of dress shoes that you put on (just make sure it matches with your tie).

All apparel you can find online at NBA Store OR take a quick trip to the Air Canada Centre and there is an apparel store right outside Real Sports Bar. As a fan, sometimes you feel like you wish you could help the team win. All that we can do is give all our support. Wear the clothes, watch the games and cheer your heart out.
