5 Highly Anticipated Designer Collaborations of 2019

Sometimes, an unlikely pair of creatives that team up to release an innovative collaboration. Other times, we’ve been waiting for a particular pair to design together.

From designer accessories to capsule collections, the five collaborations below were created by a mix of both, and we can’t wait to cop items from their new collections.

Shoes: Offspring x Converse

This brand duo is back with the Chuck 70 “Community” Pack—slated for release this month—available in the white high top and black low top. The revamped version of the classic silhouette will feature the signature Converse logo along the tongue, with a lightning motif on the shoelaces, sole, and bottom.

The shoe is appropriately titled; the designers sought the community’s input when creating this special edition. Talk about a team effort.

Accessories: Timex x Peanuts

Timex watches will bring beloved Peanuts character Snoopy to its faces. The brand will feature five watches from three of its classic silhouettes. Two Standard faces, The Weekender, and the MK1 will all depict Snoopy in space, along with special dial treatments and galaxy graphics.

The release of these watches came concurrently with AppleTV+’s Snoopy in Spaceshow and the 50^thanniversary of the lunar landing.

Clothes: Levi’s x Hello Kitty

Cartoons and classics are an ongoing theme. This iconic character celebrates her 45^th birthday this year, and to celebrate, Levi’s has partnered with Sanrio to create a girls only limited-edition Hello Kitty collection.

The streetwear line incorporates the feline’s aesthetic onto denim jackets, hoodies, jeans, and shirts.

Swimwear: Fila x Haight

Make waves in this swimwear collection. Haight’s second collaboration with the sportswear brand—featuring 24 styles to choose from—will be available internationally instead of being limited to Brazil retailers.

The designer was inspired by Fila’s retro designs while still using the brand’s signature knit crop top and bottom elements. From low back one pieces to sporty two pieces, there’s a suit for everyone.

Make-up: KKW x Mario Dedivanovic’s Second collection

Fans couldn’t contain their excitement with the release of this pair’s first collection, and they’re just as excited for the second. Mario’s recent Instagram posts have hinted at a second collection with Kardashian-West, leading fans to believe highly anticipated new products could be on the way.
