It’s September, which not only means that fall is upon us, but fashion month is in full swing. With New York and London having wrapped up, and Milan and Paris coming up next, some definite trends are beginning to emerge. London often hosts the most fun and avant-garde fashion week, and they did not disappoint this season. Here’s a look at some of the top looks from London Fashion Week.

Tommy Hilfiger: Rock Circus

In his first LFW showing in 20 years, Tommy Hilfiger’s show was a circus – literally. Titled Tommy Now: Rock Circus, the show was held at the iconic Roundhouse Theatre in Camden, a venue which has seen the likes of The Doors and David Bowie. In keeping with the rock n’ roll history of the venue, the collection was full of plaid, mesh, and leather. The classic Hilfiger logo was still emblazoned on some pieces, however, the collection as a whole felt edgier and more youthful than past showings. Frequent Tommy collaborator Gigi Hadid walked in the show along with siblings Bella and Anwar, plus other cool kid models Hailey Baldwin and Lucky Blue Smith.

Ralph & Russo

Ralph & Russo’s latest collection oozed glamour and femininity. Classic silhouettes of flowing gowns and structured suits were modernized by using sheer fabrics in powered blues, white, and black, as well as near-blinding metallics in silver and rose gold. Feathers and crystals adorned more elaborate pieces while there were also more subdued but gorgeous outfits as well.

Shrimps

The always fun British label Shrimps debuted a romantic, vintage-inspired Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Pieces that harken back to 60’s mod were updated in stark white, neon green, and shocking pink. The entire collection also uses only faux fur and leather that looks just as good if not better than the real deal. One of the standout pieces from the collection that certainly brings the drama is a white floor-length (and then some) coat with a graphic floral print that appears almost spray painted on.
