Fashion News | Best Dressed at the Emmys

The 2016 Emmys award show was packed with a variety of stunning and unique gowns worn by our favourite celebs. While some decided to stay safe with classic gowns, others decided to take a risk and make a statement on the red carpet. Here are Designer Swap’s favourite looks of the night!

Kerry Washington in Brandon Maxwell

Kerry rocked the red carpet wearing a black strapless gown by Brandon Maxwell. The gown featured two cut outs right above her baby bump, along with a floor length train at the back. Kerry accessorized with simple black sandals and diamond earrings by Fred Leighton.

Portia Doubleday in Georgio Armani

Elegant and classy is how we describe the gown that Portia wore to the Emmy’s. Made by Georgio Armani, the gown was a beautiful bright red colour and featured long sleeves, a cut out front, and a low back. Portia paired the gown with Sylva & Cie jewellery and Cesare Paciotti shoes.

Priyanka Chopra in Jason Wu

Priyanka looked gorgeous in a red one-shoulder gown by Jason Wu. The dress featured cut outs on the waist and shoulder and a cinched waistline. To avoid taking away from the dress, Priyanka accessorized with small Neil Lane earrings and styled her hair in a simple low ponytail.

Sophie Turner in Valentino

Sophie stunned the red carpet, wearing a black, semi-sheer lace gown made by Valentino. Her hair was styled beautifully in a loose braid, and she accessorized with Forevermark jewellery and black strap heels.

Kristen Bell in Zuhair Murad

Kristen wore a beautiful floral patterned Zuhair Murad Couture gown with a plunging neckline. She paired the gown with simple jewellery including a diamond ring, diamond earrings, and a cuff bracelet. Her hair was styled in a wavy bob to complete the whole ensemble.
