Tips & Trends | London Fashion Week Fall 2017 Street Style

London Fashion Week often has the most eclectic range of designers and shows, so it make sense that the street style follows suit. From minimalistic outfits to complex layering of colours and prints, there was a bit of everything. Here are 5 of the best street style looks from LFW17. Athleisure has been favourite trend for a while now, so it’s no surprise there were plenty of casual, athletic-inspired outfits seen on the streets of LFW. This Tommy Hilfiger set paired with a utilitarian jacket, structured bag and ankle boots give it a slightly more polished edge.

Monochromatic outfits, in particular all black, were also having their moment. One thing that sets this one apart is the graphic jacket. All sorts of shirts, jackets, bags, etc. have been plastered with slogans and phrases lately, a trend which has proven to be a fantastic form of expression. Sneakers add a touch of coolness and a casual vibe to the look

Balenciaga baseball cap? Check. Baby pink trench coat? Check. Oversized pansy handbag? Check! One of the more fun street style looks has got to be this super simple look with a standout bag. This unique piece makes the outfit feel fresh and ready for spring, and the trench is in one of the season’s hottest colours, making it perfectly on trend.

The colour combos in this outfit are gorgeous. Ultra light pink, deep burgundy, black look amazing with that pop of orange. The opalescent, moonstone-like finish of the skirt is eye catching while still being understated. The proportions and mixing of textures in the outfit create interest throughout, and make it appropriate for a variety of occasions.

One of the edgiest outfits seen at London Fashion Week, this one is for anyone who likes to take a walk on the wild side. A fave trend that’s already gone through a few reinventions, fishnets keep your legs semi-covered in this mini skirt/oversized sweater combo. The bold white crescent moon design, ripping along one shoulder, leather jacket, and choker with a giant metal ring are all details that really pull this look together.
