Gigi has proven herself as a legitimate model and is well on her way to making history as a veteran supermodel like Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell have. Not only is she on our radar for these reasons, but also for her on-point style. Whether she’s running errands or attending a Balmain after party in Paris, Gigi knows how to dress for any occasion. Here are some style lessons that we can learn from Gigi Hadid.

1. You can never go wrong with a white tee and denim.

It is perhaps the most basic and simple look you could ever wear but there is no denying that Gigi makes it look fashion forward and stylish. The trick to this look is finding the perfect tee and investing in a bomb pair of denim – and if you can perfect that signature Gigi bed-head hair, all the more power to you.

2. A fur coat solves everything.

It’s accurate to say that the only reason we look forward to the cold weather is to rock a good piece of fur – faux, of course. Gigi makes a fur coat her go-to outwear for those cooler NYC days and you should do the same. While effortless and chic, don’t be afraid to pair with your favourite pair of sneakers; you’ll have the perfect street-style in an instant.

3. You can never go wrong with the 90’s.

90’s has clearly been making a comeback and Gigi has proven that that’s a good thing. If there is any lesson to be learned here, it’s to take advantage of this trend while it lasts. Gigi pulls off the punk-grunge look perfectly with a lace slip dress and oversize denim coat. Don’t be afraid to take some inspiration from the 90’s – now is the time!

4. Your gym attire can make a statement.

Athletic wear has been all the rage lately, and judging by Gigi Hadid’s outfit, we can see why! While investing in your gym clothes probably never occurred to you, maybe it’s time to start thinking about it. Take your outfit from the gym to running errands on a Saturday afternoon by adding a quilted bomber coat and some colourful leggings.

5. All black is always a good idea.

An all black look is always a fabulous go-to when it comes to dressing for any occasion. Gigi shows us that playing with different textures can take an all black look up a level, and the same goes for playing with different silhouettes. All black never looked so good!

6. Never forget your sunnies.

If there is one accessory that you should never leave the house without, it’s your sunglasses. Sunglasses are a godsend for several reasons, but most importantly they make you look fierce and edgy no matter what you’re wearing. It’s rare that we see Gigi without a pair of sunglasses, so ladies follow suit!

7. There’s no such thing as too many studs.

If there’s one thing we can applaud Gigi Hadid for (let’s be real, there’s several) it’s the fact that she can look feminine and girly one day and rock a studded leather bomber jacket the next like the one pictured above. Gigi proves that edgy statement pieces like this are an essential in anyone’s wardrobe and that you shouldn’t be afraid to be daring from time to time.

8. Your hair and make-up should always be on-point.

Lastly, good hair and make-up should never go overlooked when it comes to creating the perfect look. A great outfit means nothing if your hair and make-up looks busted, so take those few extra minutes to ensure that your hair and make-up lives up to your outfit. Gigi Hadid certainly lives by this philosophy and we are totally envious of her barely there make-up and beachy hair look.
