When the Euro Cup is on, it is the perfect time to show off your culture and show how proud of where you came from. As much as I love watching sports, I love watching soccer players even more. They are not only skilled in their craft, but some are also fashion icons around the world. I wanted to take the time and review some of the most influential players for fashion. Take a look!
Without a doubt, David Beckham is one of the most influential soccer players in men’s fashion. He has received multiple endorsements from companies such as H&M, Giorgio Armani and Adidas. Fans looked to him to take home the Euro Cup, and now they look to him to see what the next top brand is going to be. Must help to have fashion icon Victoria Beckham by your side!
Henry is a French icon not only on the field, but also on the runway. He did a recent photo shoot for GQ modeling the best slim French suits out there. As he is currently on Sky Sports, fans could not get enough of the cardigans he rocked. Most men on the show wear suits, so a slight change in fashion and everybody notices.
Representing Italy, Marchisio makes the top five list for his glamorous style that look stunning both on and off the field. You can find most of his looks on Pinterest with him mostly in suits from designers such as Dolce and Gabbana. Although he is not playing this year due to an injury, I have no doubt he will still be making his mark through fashion.
Messi is one of the best, if not the greatest player in soccer at the moment. His success on the field is undeniable, but his influence in fashion is on the rise. He currently rocks the contemporary style and is now the face of Dolce and Gabbana. His style is modest, yet he remains a fashion icon for everyone.
Unlike Messi, Ronaldo is far from a modest dresser. His fashion attracts fans and paparazzi around the world. What you can see in his photos is that when he steps out into the public, he is always rocking a pair of glasses, bracelets, designer belts and unique footwear. The unique footwear could be from his 40 million dollar endorsement with Nike, but who knows!
