Tips & Trends | Festival Extravaganza: Five Looks You Can Slay This Summer

Festival season has just commenced, but if you weren’t at Coachella this year, don’t worry, there are still events like Veld, Digital Dreams, and Osheaga to look forward to, and that in itself is enough to get you itching for festival time to start in Canada. I have compiled some of my favourite looks and accessories for the festival season, read to find out how you can slay this summer in only the hottest festival attire!

Red Cat Eye Glasses

Red cat eye glasses are just the way to stand out in a crowd. Not only do they protect your eyes from the sun, but they also make you look super chic while you’re partying it up. You could pair the glasses with an oversized throw over, pinstriped pants and a cropped band tee. Finish off the look with some red sneakers (comfortable and cute!). Adding random pops of colour to your outfit through accessories and shoes really elevate the look.

Fly Away With Some Dope Flare Pants

I am completely feeling this 70’s flare look for festival season. The return of the 70’s era is in full effect this season and there is no better way to show off your love for them than to rock a pair of flare pants. These kinds of pants are ideal and comfortable for a day of partying and dancing. You can style the look with a cute bikini top, crop, or bodysuit. Casual and comfortable, while still being on trend.

Go Bare With Bralettes

It’s hot (both climate-wise, and physically), so if you wanted to dress a lil’ more risqué this festival season, a bralette could be your go-to look. You can find an extensive variety of bralettes such as bejewelled, studded, and colourful, that will pull together an amazing outfit for your three-day bender. Just don’t forget to pack your nipple covers for extra protection. Bralettes look amazing pair with a pair of flared pants or a pair of denim shorts.

Hats, Hats, and more HATS!

This staple must-have piece for festival season, and especially gets me pumped because I love hats! They are one of the hottest items you can wear to pull together a classy day look for festival season. Not only do they make you look super sexy, but they also block the sun, so you’ll have a perfect view of the stage while jamming out to your favourite band! Hats are super easy to style, but you could totally pair this with a low cut bodysuit and a pair of black denim jeans.

Boots & Fishnets

I love this trend for festival season because it is extremely practical for anyone who likes to get into the mosh pits at concerts! Especially when you’re walking around all day, footwear and remaining comfortable while partying is MAJOR KEY. Invest in a good pair of festival boots, pair it with some wicked fishnets and rock it with a cute denim distressed skirt and an oversized band tee. You’ll be dripping and dropping in finesse, my ladies!
