Outfit Of The Day | Featuring Our Diane von Furstenberg Baby Blue Dress

Share via:

Anh Pham

In 1974, Diane von Furstenberg was known for her wrap dresses which were a symbol of women’s power and independence. Her designs were prominent for women in the workforce as they were classy, sophisticated and elegant. By designing them with lengths and cuts that fit women with a variety of shapes and sizes, DVF dresses were in high demand for professional women with flare.

What’s unique about this Diane von Furstenberg frosty blue dress is that there are so many different ways to wear it, and the way you accessorize it can completely transform the look of the dress. For instance, since Anh has a long torso, she opted for wearing the dress without a belt, and was awestruck by the way the dress was able to conceal certain parts of her body without having a boxy look to it. By adding a white casual blazer and a pair of delicate silver heels, the dress was perfect for a cooler summer soiree.

On the other hand, Linh opted for a belt to cinch the dress and accentuate her waist. For a more elegant evening look, she paired the dress with light grey sandals and a matching silver Furla handbag, which you can find here directly on our online shop at DesignerSwap.ca. Or, you can find it at various other designer consignment Toronto shops!
